Here’s another exciting new tablet running on Android 3.0 and it’s not Motorola Xoom. According to netbookitalia.it, Asus Eee Pad MeMo is a 7 inch tablet with a passion for taking notes for you and they’ve got the video to prove it. The resolution is 1024 x 600, while the processor is a dual core Qualcomm 8260  running at 1.2GHz and the tablet comes also with a rear 5 MP camera and a front facing 1.2 MP one.

The slate supports 1080p playback and you can hook it up to a TV via the HDMI output. Optionally, you can go for a stylus for taking notes or drawing, functions Asus developed intensively lately for their e-book readers. There are two dedicated apps for this,Media Note for taking notes and Painter for drawing. The stylus can be kept in a specially designed shiny slot which is positioned horizontally, under the screen, and the quality of the input is quite good, thanks in part to the rubber coating of the pen, that grants stability while writing or writing. The device will come with Android 3.0, although the unit in the video still uses an older version, as Honeycomb is not available yet. On top of Android, you have the usual Asus UI, which allows you to launch programs and organizes your desktop
The storage has a minimum of 8 GB and a maximum of 64 GB and there’s 512 MB of RAM, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G. The little tablet comes with a bundle of sensors, including a digital compass, G-sensor, proximity and ambient sensor, but they can’t beat Motorola Xoom’s line up of sensors and functions. The MeMo tablet should pop up on shelves around June and will have a starting price of
