Shebang gets Samsung deal

Shebang has been appointed by Samsung to manage distribution of its accessories through its partner network

Iain Humphrey

Shebang has signed a product fulfilment deal with Samsung to distribute accessories to its partner network.

The agreement will see Shebang manage the distribution of all new Samsung accessories including bluetooth headsets, cases, speakers and car kits to all its partners, which includes dealers Jag and Get Connected.

Shebang will also introduce and distribute Samsung products in to all its online partners including Amazon, Tesco, Play.com and Mobile Fun, as well as its Go Mobile retail stores.

Mobile News understands the deal is currently on a trial basis but is expected to be made permanent.

Shebang managing director Iain Humphrey said: "Through our differentiated approach which focuses on end-to-end provision and customer experience rather than traditional ‘box-shifting’, we firmly believe that we can help Samsung reach an even wider customer base and be a successful long-term partner for the future."

Samsung head of mobile Simon Stanford said: “The accessories market is expanding and we’re seeing increasing demand from customers for everything from speakers and phone socks, to Bluetooth headsets and batteries.

"It’s therefore important that we have a supplier able to associate Samsung accessories with handsets to ensure we’re providing our customers with the choice they demand.

"We are hopeful this new partnership will provide incremental business to Samsung through the distribution of our accessories through Shebang’s extensive partner network
